I’m María, an Argentine writer and a true Porteña. Since 2003 I’ve been working as a guide in Buenos Aires and a tour leader in Argentina and Southamerica, while alternating this job with writing. I also love traveling, so far I’ve visited more than fifty countries of the five continents. That’s why I´m so enthusiastic about showing my city to visitors, far from a purely touristic view. Following this rule, I create fully customized guided tours for every interest and taste in Buenos Aires and the surrounding region. No two tours are alike and everything is tailored to each visitor: visiting historical and avant-garde spots, museums, cafés, bookstores, bars, enjoying wine tasting, sitting at a park to drink mate, biking through the woods, eating at an elegant restaurant or trying a local choripan or empanada. If something defines Buenos Aires it is its contrasts.

My books
I´m María, an Argentine writer and journalist, born and bred Buenos Aires native. I’ve alternated my job as a guide with travels around the world, after which I wrote articles for national and international tourism magazines. During these years, I´ve guided well-known writers and travelers particularly interested in the cultural aspects of the city but also the popular areas, where one can feel the complex idiosyncrasy of Argetineans. But my life is not just books. I like to consider myself “eclectic”, like Buenos Aires. Maybe for this reason I enjoy showing my city to all kinds of travelers.
